We use the HOGSCAN app primarily for managing our ride/event calendar and RSVPing for rides. It is not an official Harley-Davidson app, it was developed and is maintained by an independent software developer. Hence it costs a nominal fee ($0.99 as of July 2025) and the money goes to the developer, not to Harley-Davidson. The app uses the same backend database as the one that powers our website and emails and SMS texts, so the calendar is always in sync between the app and the website. You can RSVP on either the app or the website, but many find the app to be easier.

How to get chapter text messages We're now using text messaging (a.k.a. SMS) a bit more frequently to send out important reminders. For example we send out a reminder before each chapter meeting. If you did not get these texts and you want to receive them in the future (or visa versa), here's what to do: ✅  Log into hog3160.org ✅  Click "Hello <Your Name>" to go to your profile ✅  Edit your profile, scroll down, and check the "Send me SMS messages" box ✅  Make sure your phone number is correct

The Tour of Duty Ride is a fun all-year activity that raises money for the Military Assistance Mission. You get a map which has 66 places on it throughout Arizona. When you patronize each place, you get a stamp. Every six stamps gets you an entry in the end-of-year drawing for up to $1000. We will have rides that visit some of the stamp stops throughout 2025. See Rick Hilton to get your map, they are also available at many of the stamp stops.

The H-D app is how Harley will be sending you points that you can redeem for purchases at the dealership (1 point equals 1 cent). YOU ARE LEAVING MONEY ON THE TABLE IF YOU DON’T USE THE APP!  For example, some of us got 500 points ($5) for registering for and watching the 2024 Harley model reveal video. YES, WE GOT PAID TO WATCH A COOL MOTORCYCLE VIDEO!  Anyone can get 100 points by using the app to do your first 2025 check-in at HDOS. Most importantly, your 2025 Ride 365 rewards will now be coming to you as points in the H-D app instead of a quickly-expiring gift card in the mail.
