Preliminary travel plans for our chapter:  (Subject to change) 

  • "East Side" riders - meet at HDOS for KSU at 9:30 am on Friday Jan 12th
  • "West Side" riders - meet in Wickenburg at the Maverick gas station around 10:30 am (US 60 and Mariposa Dr)
  • We'll all connect in Wickenburg at the Maverick gas station around 11:00 am (US 60 and Mariposa Dr)
  • Lunch in Parker on Friday at the Crossroads Cafe, then on to Laughlin, ETA 4:30pm local time (Pacific)

Note: We'll be riding in California and Nevada - HELMETS ARE REQUIRED..

Pre-Rally Ride Option:

As mentioned by Ray Prather at the November Chapter meeting, we are considering an 3 day ride (2 additional nights) option prior to the Winter Round Up. The route would include overnight stays in Las Vegas area (Jan 10th) and Tonopah Nevada (Jan 11th) and would include riding NV HWY 375 (the “Extraterrestrial Hwy”), which is the 50 Rides/One Nation ride for Nevada. The ride will end in Laughlin on Friday (Jan 12th) in time for the start of the Winter Round-Up.  If interested, please call, text or email Ray in order to get an estimated size of the group.

Wednesday January 10th, 2024:  HDOS to Las Vegas

  • Route: TBD
  • Destination: Boulder Station Hotel/Casino
  • 4111 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, NV 89121, United States

Thursday January 11th, 2024: Las Vegas to Tonopah, NV

  • Route:  US Hwy 93 to Ash Springs, NV
  • NV Hwy 375 to Rachel, NV and the Little A’Le’Inn (Nevada 50 state photo spot)
  • NV 375 to Warm Springs, NV
  • US Hwy 6 to Tonopah, NV
  • Destination: Belvada Hotel

Friday January 12th, 2024: Tonopah, NV to Laughlin, NV

  • Route: TBD
  • There will be 2 options for the ride to Laughlin that will mostly be based on weather.  We can go down US Hwy 95, or (if the weather is good) we can ride over to Bishop, CA and then down US Hwy  395 to Lone Pine….then across Death Valley back to Hwy 95…….either way will be a nice ride but the 2nd option has more scenery.
