Patagonia overnight ride

It’s a rare weekend that Patagonia isn’t visited by motorcyclists from near and far. The high desert mountains and valleys offer exhilarating winding roads and grand vistas of boundless beauty. Historic western towns along the way offer plenty of scenery. This ride also features an opportunity to visit the Titan Missile Musuem!

Departure points on Saturday, September 21

There are two, for east side and west side folks. Gather at 6:30am for 7:00am KSU

  • HDOS: in front of the Northsight gate to the parking lot
  • West side: the QT at Bullard/McDowell in Goodyear

The groups will join up at the Sacaton Rest area off 1-10 near mile marker 181. Late breakfast at Bisbee Breakfast Club in Marana. After breakfast, we will ride to the Titan Missile Museum where will journey through time and tour what was once one of America’s Top-Secret places.  Are you ready for the Mission? After the tour, we will continue with our scenic ride to Patagonia.

Titan Missile Museum tour:

  • Book the 12:00pm tour (takes 45 minutes), tickets are $16.50, best purchased in advance: Titan Missile Museum

Hotel:

  • Stage Stop Inn: Scottsdale HOG3160 room rate is $149 + tax, there's a block of rooms for us. There a pool, restaurant and Wagon Wheel Saloon on site. Yee Haw!

For those who wish to return as a group, on Sunday, we will enjoy a scenic ride back via Oracle, over Pinal Peak, stop for lunch in Globe, the over Top-of-the-World and through Superior on home.
